The Fortnite quests have seen quite a big change this week, as all of the Midas Rises and Floor is Lava tasks have now expired and been removed, but a new set of assignments have arrived linked to Korra from the battle pass, in addition to some more of the regular Weekly quests. Next week the next set of the ongoing The Oracle's Snapshot quests launches in the battle royale with Aphrodite's Snapshot, while there's also plenty happening in the standalone experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.
Don't overlook them, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Season 2 to speed up your progress through the battle pass. Alongside the Snapshot storyline quests, you can take on Kickstart quests showcasing the fresh mechanics introduced this season, plus the retooled daily quests (Match), overall progress quests (Milestones), and classic Weekly quests that now arrive in a complete set instead of in sections.
The Week 4 quests involve opening chests or ammo boxes within 30 seconds of landing from the bus, so make a beeline for those at the start of a match to get that ticked off. You'll also need to hit opponents while aiming down sights with a Thermal Scope, collect ammo from eliminated players, and damage players or bosses that are below 25% health, so Team Rumble is a good place to head for that – though you may find it more effective to tackle a boss yourself to rack up that low health damage.
There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on a specific challenge. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
